Jill Reid grew up in New York State and earned her undergraduate degree at SUNY Geneseo in Elementary and Special Education.  She earned a Masters in Educational Psychology from the University of Connecticut.  She has teaching experience in special ed. general ed. and gifted ed settings.  She is currently a Gifted Resource Teacher at Salem Elementary School for Virginia Beach City Public Schools in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  She is the author of the upcoming book How to Grow a Mind: A Better Way to Live, Grow, and Innovate in the 21st Century.  Jill is an educational speaker and leads professional development on Mindset and her own philosophy of moving the educational system and society forward in a joint effort of growth and innovation.
